What do you guys think about new fighter introduction sequences? Something like in MK:The Movie, in the Sub Zero/Liu Kang fight Subby comes down the stairs before they take their fighting stances, and also the Scorpion/Cage fight where they are walking through the woods - these wouldn't be long, only a matter of seconds.
Also certain fighter's could do some 'air martial arts' before they take their stance for the fight, like in real martial arts (Although I saw your responses to my realism thread, lol!)
Other fighters (e.g Rayden and Kung Lao) might bow to their opponents, like in conquest mode in MKDA.
You guys may not like the idea, but I'm not too fond of the way the fighters just square off from the start. Your ideas?

I like this. I also hate the fact that there is no lead up to the fight, that they are just there. They should be generic for characters that really have nothing to do with one another, but special to characters that actually have some form of relationship. I agree 100%.

You'd love Street Fighter then.

Anyhoo, I agree. There should be some sort of introductory sequence. I mean, Soul Calibur has something like an intro sequence, why not Mortal Kombat?

Introductions would make the fight too long, unless you can skip them. I liked the introductions in Soul Calibur, where the narrator said a quick line about the character as the character prepared.

I like this, because in my mind when I'm playing DA or something and have two characters that are friends fighting, I'm always thinking up some reason as to why they're fighting. Like maybe they're sparring or in some friendly duel.

I'd just prefer a VS screen and maybe each fighter does an individual movement before the fight starts
