Yes, it's true. Certain characters are able to use their weapons in their fatalities. Characters like Scorpion, Sub Zero, Cyrax, Shang Tsung, Kira, and even Mavado are able to perform weapon chains and enders in their fatalities. All you have to is input: up, down, up, circle (PS2)/ up, down, up, b (Xbox)

thanks.. the weird thing was also, that it wasnt an 'ender' it happened mid fatality...

i understand that some characters can use their weapons... what i mean is that i performed a move that ive not seen before, and there doesnt appear to be anything about it on any of the KAF move lists.. i am just wanted to know if anyone else had done it, and if they had if they knew what the command is.

Oh, well I have not seen or done that move before. The only impaling moves I know of and use are the forward chest impale and the forward gut impale. Did you impale Kitana from behind or in front of her?

Ummm... I pull out the sword with U,D,U square on my PS2...

she was stood in front of her... it looked like the gut impale move, only she pulled the sword out straight after and it had some organ on it.

Yeah. I've seen Mileena break out her sai on me. She stabbed me in the head with it mid-chain. But her ender was a sai decap.

Hmmm... That's interesting. I've never seen that done before. I'll have to look into more. I would think that it would be only for her specific weapon class, but that wouldn't be true because characters of other weapon classes (Scorpion, Sub Zero, etc.) "share" that impale move, but I've never seen them rip the sword out with an organ attached. I've seen one where I spun Nightwolf around, impaled him in the groin and tore out his brain or whatever it was. Like I said, I'll have to look into it more and find out how to do it.

I wouldn't think that anything would be wrong with your copy of MKA, Flash-Crash. Just a typo error on my part, that's all. :)

By the way, DigitalDebaser, Mileena's head stab move is part of her weapon class movelist. I don't know if you knew that already, but I thought I'd point that out. And I thought it was strange how it wasn't consider an ender. Just like you'd think that the neck snap move when your opponent is turned the opposite way on their knees isn't an ender.

you probably did the kidney removal move while holding the sword.

right you are. I just read through this list ready to type out that same message. Good thing someone else knew the answer as well. Sometimes you can do forward chains while holding your weapon and its looks different.A good one is doing the head rip while they are face down and you are holding the weapon. That looks funny.

ok so i dont want to seem like im going on.. but ive tried pretty much all the moves on the list, while having her sword pulled out.. some of the button commands do the same move they would if you wern't holding a sword (eg. the arm rip) and others do sword specific moves (eg impale or arm slice etc) however none of them were the move i saw. li mei actually stabbed kitana, as thought it was the impale move, but then pulled out the sword with the organ on it... slightly like the 'Shish Kabob' move. but hey... i guess it could be some sort of glitch.. i dont know

It's not new. I got the game yesterday, did it, and managed to work out how.
I think!


STEP 1:
Pull out your sword.

STEP 2:
Perform the Double Arm rip.

STEP 3:
Now try a Right Arm Slice with the sword: F, F, 2

STEP 4:
Ahhh, but what's this! In the absence of any arms to slice off, the character has done the only other forwards move that is F, F, 2: The heart rip!

STEP 5:
The sword will point forwards in the direction of the arm as the move is done. This looks just as though they plunged the sword in and ripped the heart out on it!


I did this with Scorpion by accident, but I'm pretty sure that's what happened. There may be other ways to do it, but basically you have try to cut off the opponent's right arm when it's already missing. You'll then do the heart rip instead.

Yeah, I know, blackicesub-Z. I meant to put X for Xbox and Square for PS2. I've been through this already. I was thinking of the decapitation ender for when the opponent is on their knees when I typed it. My mistake. For further explanation, Sword Removal (PS2): Up, Down, Up, Square/Sword Removal (Xbox): Up, Down, Up, X.
