It's doubtful they are spoilers, after all Cyraz worked for Nitara in MK:DA.

You can't get to the other side until you beat Konquest, meaning that you get all the Kamidogu and unlock Shujinko in the Arcade mode.

No. No one out there has confirmed talking to them. The two remain there all the time. The area is only accessible after beating Konquest HOWEVER once Konquest is beaten, they are gone.
People have found out that if you open the chest near Moloch then they vanish. So the theory was not to open that chest through Konquest and then once you beat it, you could go over and talk to them. I tried that in my 2nd Konquest round. It didn't work as they were not there. I also checked every chance I could to see if they were there - and they were. From start to finish, they remain there. They seem to vanish once Konquest is beaten ... so it makes it impossible to talk to them.
Another theory was that the "not opening chest near Moloch" was a hint. If you remember in the starting village, there was a "?" that you could pick up. If you did you got knocked out for 2 days and a boy told you "Not to pick up everything you see!" Well people got the idea that this was a hint. Beat Konquest mode without opening any chests and getting as few koins as you could (you have to pick up a few koins because they block your path). Well, since the Yankee game was postponed I decided to do this. I made a new Konquest and beat it in around 2 hours opening ZERO chests. I checked to see if Nitara/Cyrax were there on a regular basis and they were. I rushed over as soon as I beat Konquest mode ... but to no avail. They were gone.
So as far as anyone knows there is no way to talk to them. Unsolved Mystery.

Oh ok I was wondering about this myself because i opened the chest next to them and they were there when I did Scorpions misson.
