I've wondered that too. I was freakin when I saw them and couldn't get over there to them. Haven't been able to see them since.

He means that you can see him in konquest.

I visit many MK boards and besides the whole Kung Lao and Sindel's Ring ordeal, this is the other most sought after answer. No one I have heard from has figured out the Nitara/Cyrax thing. They appear when you first visit Netherrealm and are visible across the lava from Moloch's spot. If you approach Moloch though, they tend to vanish. After that they never re-appear.
I'm re-doing Konquest right now and making sure to talk to everyone multiple times and finish all side quests (no matter how small). This time I did not approach Moloch and Nitara and Cyrax are still visible from a distance. I'm not even going to go near that area until I beat Konquest and can access that section via the bridge. If I find out anything I will definatley post it.

Thanks. Oh i was looking through the opening movie, and I noticed that when Raiden did his super blast thing, he wasnt the only one that teleported. Shang Tsung was killed, BUT Quan Chi teleported. Im not sure if you all knew this or not im just making sure.

I found Nitara...and Sektor, but no Cyrax as of yet. Nitara is by herself in Outworld, on the far north side of the map in a deep cave...I tried to talk to her, but she just says 'go away' and punches me.
Sektor (in Edenia) tells me to go to the Orderealm and find a parts dealer, has anyone done this? I can't seem to find the parts dealer anywhere.
If anyone else needs more info, i'll post the exact grid location and stuff, i can't figure out which mission i have to do to get Nitara to respond though.

Did you already do the vampire hunter mission in Outworld?

Moloch will give you a mission to go find Drahmin. After you complete his mission, both him and Moloch have a bad case of gas.

back on topic.....can u get past the guard who says "its not time to pass?" then hits you? and then can u talk to nitara and cyrax over there?

great...my favorite character in the series doesn't even have much of a role in Konquest...
that Cyrax thing better be important, because I am starting to lose patience seeing my favorite being the least used in the game...

Oh and Mokap is in there too for some strange reason...

the parts you need for sektor are in orderrealm. there is a guy walking around just outside the portal temple. just keep talking to every citizen you see and eventually a guy will say something like, "why yes i am a parts dealer and let me look at your list to see if i have your parts"
mokap you punch in orderrealm to get a key for the krypt.

The Cyrax and Nitara talking is interesting too, since Cyrax IS in the game, but you can't get to him!

This is just a theory, in the first village, after you finish the 2nd dojo a ? appears along the side of the dojo. When you pick it up you pass out for two days and then Apep tells you that you should not pick up everything you see. Now in the Netherrealm, I have gotten to this point twice now, and I noticed that Nitara and Cyrax do not dissapear until you open the chest. Maybe you should leave the chest alone until after you have beaten Konquest and are able to go across to that island and maybe then you will be able to meet up with them?

No one has interacted with Cyrax yet?
This gotta be one Major secret I think!! These people at Midway knows Cyrax is a favorite character in MK, NO WAY they will just have Cyrax appear as a talking cameo across the lava!

Ok. I knew about the chest-opening near Moloch before I started my second Konquest and I definatley knew about Cyrax/Nitara standing there.
So of course, I did a new Konquest and did NOT open the chest near Moloch. I really didn't even go near the area. On my second trip back to the Netherrealm I ran over to confirm if Nitara/Cyrax were still there. They were. All I had to do now was beat Konquest mode, run over the opened bridge, and talk!
Too bad it didn't work. I beat Konquest mode, the bridge was opened, the chest was not opened, and Cyrax/Nitara were not there. There could be something to not collecting/opening any koins/chests ... but I doubt it. Maybe so though. Maybe that opening the chest is a clue that opening to many makes them disapear as well as the 2-day-later knockout in the village. Could be on to something. Could not. Who knows! All I know is that the not opening the chest near Moloch didn't work.

I'm beginning to wonder if what Apep tells you at the beginning to not be so greedy is a very important clue. It makes a lot of sense. Look at how many koins you have after you finish Konquest. Its a lot. Way more than anyone needs. Could be something there.

Well. I spent the past 2 and a half hours doing Konquest mode....for a 3rd time. I did not collect any koins (ran into maybe 3 on accident or ones that are you can't miss, such as the gold koin before the Komidogu in Chaos Realm), I completed ZERO quests, and opened NO chests. At all. Nitara/Cyrax were in their spot, as usual. I checked the Netherrealm every time I had the chance (inbetween my 2nd trip to Earthrealm and 2nd trip to Outworld, etc) and then I beat Konquest mode. I go to Netherrealm. I check to see of Nitara and Cyrax are there? No shows. I even opend the Moloch chest (figuring that maybe if you open it when they are gone they would re-appear). I get the noise characters get when they disapear in a puff of smoke but no characters actually showed up. So I quit without saving.
These two beat the hell out of me. I'm not sure if there is a way to talk to them. I can't really think of what else to do ... anyone got any more ideas?
