i know this really sucks...i love seeing the BIO's

This really sucks. So much for Mortal Kombat...long live Street Fighter

I took a look at the thread, and I must say that dv8withn8, the moderator who said that there aren't going to be any more bios, simply assumed that due to Ed Boon and co. working on MK8. Without official confirmation from Midway or the MK team to back up his statement as well as no word from the high-ups at MKO to support this, I'm going to say that dv8withn8 is just making an assumption.

Yes, that's what I think, too. By the way this is a petition to let Midway know some of us still care about the bios:

If it's true and that really is the end of the bios... well... at least I can expect Xiahoudun84's next storyline analysis a bit sooner. With less bios to sift through, it should be much easier to make sense of it all. *sigh*

I'm sticking to my guns here. MK:A NEEDS the bios. I don't care if it takes ten years (please make it sooner), but the bios are STILL desperately needed. Where's the heavy hitters? Where's the bio for Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Liu Kang, Raiden, etc? Questions are raised and they need to be answered. I'll sign the petition a hundred times over.

We are Mortal Kombat FANS, and dammit, we will be heard! If a developer cannot accomodate the fans, then it has no business asking for OUR business. If this wasn't a franchise I cared about, I wouldn't be so upfront about this. So, plain and simple, GIVE US THE BIOS.

I think it would be funny cos it shows how ludicrously incompetent they are!

If this is true:

Characters who didn’t get bios would be like characters who weren’t really in the game, involved in the story. I guess only those who were in Konquest and don’t get a bio get a bit (lucky) of a story, but it still sucks.

It absolutely sucks!!!!! This is horrible and I hope they aren’t stupid enough to make that decision. They promised us a complete story with no wholes, gaps and a finally tied and organized storyline for the final installment of Mk, yet they made the decision of not having bios and have all characters in one game?!?!!

They promised them before the game, and after, they are a must!

I know, dude. I know. Maybe it's just that they've taken so long to get these bios out in the first place- I think I already gave up hope of seeing them all a while back. It doesn't come as much of a shock or anything. I kept saying these guys are paid professionals and these bios aren't long or works of art. They could all grab lunch, sit around a table, and hammer them all out in a single afternoon.
Boom.
Done.
Put 'em up and go back to work on MK8 the day after. *sigh* Guess not. Well, maybe not. There's still the slim hope that this isn't legit.

At least, I'm hoping they put them all in Mk8.

I'm starting to think that I think MK: Armageddon should be a side story game. Even if we get all bios, much of them will be "ressurected characters" and for that I still non-cannon characters than making bios for them. At least for Jarek, they could think better to "ressurecting him" like falling into water than saying he survived by puting his knife to the clif.

dv8withn8 is just telling the truth. RIP MKA bios.

Or maybe he's just making an assumption based on the fact that the MK team is working on MK8. Like I said before, unless there's official word that supports what dv8with8 is saying, I'm just going to call it an assumption.
