I think that the less we know about the game, the better. I think what made older MK games so great is that we didnt know every secret character that was in the game. In the older games, it was a big surprise that would make the game awesome. Know that we know almost every character that is in the game, its less suspenseful unlocking a character. I think that we should have updates on the gameplay, but leave some characters secret. The fact that we didnt know what characters were gonna be in MKII made it so exciting when u unlocked the secret characters. I think that some things of the game should be kept secret. That would make the game so much more exciting to play.

I agree that I don't want any secrets (characters, costumes, moves, Krypt contents, etc.) leaked but I think I'd like to find out more about the core cast of characters. The ones that are available and you don't have to unlock. Maybe see somemore stages. But no secrets.

As a Game Cube owner I need some info to know whether buying a new system will be worth it but I don’t want too many spoiler type updates. Maybe info about the game play and mechanics but not too much more, possibly some screen shots and concept art for characters we’ve already seen but that would be it.

I remember for DA at E3 a character select screen was released with blacked out characters, which didn’t end up being the final select screen anyway. I wouldn’t mind seeing something like that again (without character confirmations) which gives us a bit of an idea but in the end tells us nothing.

Agreed! As long as no secrets are revealed I'm fine with finding out new information. I like seeing the screenshots mainly. Hopefully they'll show more of the characters and stages.

Well i think we know enough characters. It seems to me that knowing 7 out of 10 classic characters is enough for now. I would like to be surprised with 3 classic characters.

I agree with what you said, I think MKDA was way too spoiled for me when I bought it (I knew almost every information that was released before the game actually was), so when I bought it, there was no surprise...

But I still think all information found should be published, and if I dont wanna know, I just wont look.

I think they should say who they are. The characters that should be hidden are the hidden characters. They should not reveal any informaton about them except for how many there are.

Yeah, please Boon & Co. at least don ́t spoil us with the 10 secret characters, the secret stages and the alternate outfits. Any way we've already seen many of the alterntes (baraka, mileena, sub, sindel, nightwolf, ermac...)

They are going to keep on giving more and more updates untill we know everything about the game. I think the only reason they r doing this is to get more ppl that already arent hardcore Mk fans to be one. Because if sum1 looks on the internet and sees nothing really on the game do u really think they will go out and buy it, no. So my suggestion to u is just dont click on the links to new updates and if theres a picture already there close ur eyes. smile

^ I think he's right. Might not be good that they show every aspect of the game, but chances are it will happen like that again. Which is kind of a shame. People will just have to label Threads more carefully to indicate spoilers so people who don't want to know don't have to.

I think they will announce all the characters available on the main selection screen, but maybe not on E3. I think I would like to know more about the core gameplay instead of the characters. I mean, I would like to know what kind of endings the game will have(CG; Classic, narrated); which endings of DA were taken, which ones were not taken, etc etc, instead of knowing the names of all the characters in the game. Which is pretty useless as 8 of them we don't know anything about, and the others were almost completely revealed, with about 6 or 7 spots missing. Also, they should update the official website with some cool wallpapers featuring the Characters in CG.

Updates aren't that bad.
As long as there is still plenty of stuff we don't know. I say they just show us info at the big gaming conventions eg E3 & TGS
