Yeah it could be since both outfits are exactly the same. Just like Li Mei's purple/blue alt and Kenshi's Red/blue costumes.

If it was infact the color swap for P2, the head wouldn't have changed, but it does. Noob is wearing a silver mask with lines in it. That's his alt. outfit I betting.

I think they just might be betas and Midway will do some changes before it comes out.... hopefully because noobs skin should have never been shown he should stay a shadow and his alt should be a grim reaper look

well boon said that they would have 3 alts so maybe they are being rushed with the costumes so i dont think that it is p2 costume or anything. I think that all that the midway team has been doing lately is fooling with our heads to build suspense. midway keeps teasing us with all of these half revealing photos and its actually kind of funny. I havnt ever really had much of a history with noob saibot because i never really played mk4 or gold but from what ive heard everyone wants him to have full black skin or at least be covered in black. i dont really mind his skin look but like i said i havnt had much history with him. Im pretty sure that is just one of his alts...and it also couldnt be finished...ever think of that?

In the past, only color changes(excluding MK4). Not costumes. Noob's initial costume doesn't show skin. He's completely covered in armor. His second costume has an entirely different mask, gauntlets, and I think even boots.

Noob has human skin. It's confirmed. Official. I'm losing my mind. Damn this Smoke controversy.

Ok after comparing both costumes very carefully, I can say that the ONLY diffrence between both costumes is that the all black one doesnt have those 'rings' that the other has on the boots and arms.

The head, boots, gaunlets ect. are the same is both of them.

From what I can see, he has sleek round shoulder protection in one costume, and a different mask. There are also metal rings as you said, and silver designs on his boot in the other.

But none of this matters, because in order for the theory to be correct, Noob would have to be fighting himself. We all saw noob fight Kira in one costume, and Li Mei in his alt. Therefore, the theory can't work.

The rings and the head/face mask are the only different things. But with the skin color change and different things being silver it looks different enough when in action.

But remember, we've seen Li Mei and Kenshi in a different colored version of their costumes but they weren't fighting themselves. You'll probably be able to select the p2 color(s).

Kenshi? I need to see that sometime.

But the thing with Li Mei is that only her color changed. With Noob, we got the rings, shoulder armor, and the mask. I don't think they would put that much effort into a color change.

The main reason I think it's his alt is because they wanted to show once and for all that Noob Saibot is a vital, living human. But through a color change? It just doesn't seem likely.
