I don't know what message you're trying to convey, but yeah, I did notice the stomping, which is interesting now that I think about it. Okizeme? Downed attacks? That'd be fucking mint. Although, the effect is Batman being planted. And it doesn't really make sense for a character to get planted on their face in that position if they're being stomped while they're already downed, feet towards attacker. And typically in fighting games you just don't land face down, head towards opponent. Especially not in a game which makes such rudimentary use of 3D as Mortal Kombat does. So it makes me think it's likely just a throw animation. Also, there appeared to be multiple hits from what I saw/heard, as if multiple stomps. So yeah, I'm going to say it's probably just a throw at this stage.

I was thinking Batman's fighting style has been used in a past game. But this makes me think this is a very early build of the game if they do that. But if they are serious and reuse crappy fighting style from past games then, fuck off MK vs DC. But I think Boon is confident in his fighting mechanic, which makes me think its all new.

OOOORRRRRR it was just used for the trailer the game is still in production and all we saw in the trailer was a throw a some kicks and punches and the free fall kombat thats it. im sure if they did finish the fighting system they would have showed more in the trailer but since this game is still in production im sure this was just for the trailer.

be realistical...we said the same thing about area 51 blacksite:when we saw the first footage everyone said "It will be improved" and after a long wait we found that the early version of the game was better than the final one.and the early version sucked.....so you can guess what was the quality of the final product.
no i think that they will improve poligonal conpenetration/conflicts (like Subby's knee ninto batman's leg) and maybe use better textures,but i really doubt that they will touch the gameplay...after all they have only few months before the final release of the game...and they won't finish the game by november,they have to finish it since september or october,and then they will sell from november,the 11th november.

so,now i have the confirmation:MK VS DCU is ultimately crappy,with stupid idea and recycled animations...i'm not surprised either.

Quit over-analyzing everything, and just wait for the game. You should probably take some time, and relax for a bit. Personally I can't wait, I think it will be interesting, hell scorpions in it so I'm happy. But I would have been cool if they started over too...

ok now i have the official proof that a lot of NEW comers8the guys which follows the saga from Deadly Alliance) does not understand the MK universe.
a lot of ppl is asking for lesser blood and more realism and when the old school fanboys try to tell their dissapintening,the new comers just says:"if you don't like the new direction MK franchise is taking,just left".
the problem is different:i'm the old school fanboy and i'm the guy which let Midway to earn more $$$ than any other guy.
so if there's something wrong with my complaints,you HAVE to left,not the old school fanboys.

so summarize we have:
1)no fatality,stage fatalities or deathtraps
2)less blood,no gore at all,no fun...no MK!
3)not excellent graphic,
4)DC superidiots...ehm i mean superheroes
5)and now...recycled animations

i don't need to wait until november to say that this game is going to suck
