Some of us are at a point in the game where we are to meet kung lao,but he is not there.others are at the same point and he is there.We are trying to find out why and if we still can find him without starting over.because if you dont see him then the game stops for you.... as far as we know... see its a big deal to some of us that have beatin the game and dont want to start over.wow

what u mean the game stops for you??? like freezes or what also whats the quests spose to lead to?

He is the next quest to start ,but if you cant find him you have nothing to do.A few of us missed something when we were young shujinko and now that we're old shujinko and have beat the game kung lao is missing.but for those who have done this quest when they were young,kung lao is there when they are old.

Thats dumb.We should be able to go on.This game would really suck if they let you go past something that is really important later on. I put 10 hours into Konquest to find everything and do everything,but missed one little quest.Thats stupid to have to do it all over again,and boring.furiousfurious
I am not starting over unless it's mandatory for more secrets, in which case I will be very angry.

I started over earlier tonight basically because of two reasons; 1) To go back and find things I missed in the first village. And 2) I think it's fun. LOL

Everything from your profile is usable on the other profile's. I'm the only person on my xbox that has all the characters and fully unlocked krypt, yet everyone else on my xbox (gf and brother) can use the characters and alt. costumes without loading my profile. So to start a new Konquest over wouldn't be that bad of a thing since you don't need to go find everyone again. Plus we can find out if there are things we need to do really early in the game such as this Kung Lao thing..perhaps there's a lot of this type of stuff. Maybe there's a lot of this in the first village aswell. The only thing that you need to be logged into your profile while fighting to use is Shujinko's moves.

I really do enjoy the Konquest mode. I think I've played that more than the Arcade mode. But for the life of me, I can't restart it now. Surely to God they put in a way to get stuff later in the Konquest if you've missed an earlier quest. Surely they thought of that.
I guess if I have to, I'll restart it but only when I find a finished and complete guide so I won't miss anything again.

so whats the deal with kung lao. what does he do? i mean someone said he starts a new quest for you, but by new quest what do you mean?
like do you mean a whole nother set of missions like what we did with shujinko already? i guess ill look around the boards.

After you beat the game and go back to earthrealm he is one of the new side missions that lead to more missions and bigger stuff.But if you miss something before you beat the game he isnt there.We are trying to find out if there is a way to keep playing without starting over.Hes nothing great just more quests that "might"lead to something bigger.

Kung Lao gives you a quest to find Kai, and after you find Kai, he gives you "Raiden's Staff" which you are supposed to destroy Shao Kahn with. But I don't think anyone has figured out how exactly to do that yet, as the Shao Kahn in his regular spot in Outworld doesn't seem to react differently once you have it.

Perhps there is a alt. ending or more the story? I mean, Shujinko just ran away from Onaga, maybe you can go back and destroy him somewhere somehow. ya know? Maybe there's a lot of stuff you can do that's like the Kung lao thing that changes everything around. hmmm....
