MK will not be a crossover game, especially not with SF4. I think it won't be at all.

Midway first has to get rights to put other creations in their game. I know comic books are dark, but they are not dark enough for MK.

Secondly, people need to stop beleiving that SF will be the crossover game because there is a SF game being created right now.

Not to mention, Midway probably knows what will happen to them if they made MK head into a crossover game.

So you need to stop reading some of those posts boy, because then the rumor shit is going to go through your head and you'll start beleiving that MK might be a crossover game when there's nothing that's been stated that it will. Because it won't.

2. a crossover would take everything that is special and unique about the series and throw it out the window. it would never be the same, fans would scream blasphemy and sales would probubly drop(at least from the hardcore fan base anyway) and with midway bleeding money at this point, they're not going to risk that.

Well, of course it would be a crossover game!
I mean, other franchises and their fanbases are always thrilled and excited about the prospect of MK invading their spaces. Not to mention the fact that there's already been a lot of post-MKA buzz about MK8 being a fresh start for the franchise (on "next gen" consoles, no less).

So of course they'd start things off with the interruption of someone else's brands and fiction. Clearly that makes a lot of sense.

Only lending more credence to the theory/hope is the creative brilliance of speculated match-ups like MK/DC or MK/Tekken. Pairings that just make so much sense given their common sensibilities...

I get what you're saying bro. You'd think that people on MKO would respect our classic characters much more, and not want to taint their goodness with that of another fighter. It's sad to hear that our own people have betrayed us.
