when on one of them it shows Kobra kneeling down before Onaga sitting on a throne. does this have anything to do with the story or was it suppose and then got scrapped but left the screen in there?

And in one of the loading screens I've seen a Hotaru Puzzle figure itself. He could be in the game?

Maybe it means nothing...maybe its just a pic to look cool.
Or maybe, it can be a hint for Mk7.
Besides, it looks to me like he was ready to fight, not bow.
