I think because those characters have 3 linked style combos. Characters that do have 3 style linked combos tend to be the most deadly. Those can be pretty damaging. I know how to use Jade pretty good. I can get up to around 40% damage with her. I am learning Ashrah. So far her combos are pretty cool. I've fought against a Raiden player online before. He was pretty cheap. All he did was teleport and then throw and the same pop up combo. Pretty lame, but what can you do but try to be better next time? There are other things like throws, special moves and more I could get into that is a diff thread though.
