Will tournaments just be a race by everyone to get Scorpion,SubZero or whatever other favourite they have?

I hope there is more to it than that.

I hope there are tournament options like having RANDOM SELECT ONLY, so that the character given to you is by chance only and so that you as a player, need to be skilled as much as possible, with as many fighters as possible.

This to me would show who the real champions are, those that can win consistently on RS.

Will points(Koins?) be given perhaps? For example you get 1 point for winning a round, 2 points for winning a fight, 3 points for performing a fatality? Hell, could the loser get a point for Hari-Kiri (spelling?) ?

Will we, be able to sit back at home and watch tournaments online? I would be interested in this, especially if the champion user of each fighter were assembled across the world in the mother of all tornys.
