Playable bosses

In the last two MKs (3 if you count Gold), the main boss(es) were playable from the start. Would it be a good idea to keep this new tradition with mk6 (whether or not the dk is the boss) or have the boss playable by a secret code.

i think they should go back to they it originally was.

I'd prefer to earn the use of the main boss characters rather than use codes, similar to what was required to play as Blaze/Mokap, or even purchase them in coffins (should the Krypt return).

The bosses should be unlocked as you go through the game.

I think it depends on how much posts you make, and the kind of posts they are.

To the topic, they should be hidden. (Like in the krypt)

I for one don't think the main boss should be playable at all (like MK1 Shang Tsung and MK2 Shao Kahn) just as the sub-bosses (Moloch etc).

It would add a whole aura of mystery and exclusiveness if you didn't saw the boss that often (only if you beat the sub-boss) and didn't know all his moves and play-style (you would know everything about the boss including his weak points etc if you would be able to play with him).

Not making the boss playable and a regular character would also open a lot of other options (like multiple bars or recovery mode to make the boss harder).
