Will there be a playable demo disc?
Do you guys think there will be one at the E3 show that you can take home?
Or will there be one in a magizine?

I don't think Midway would give out anyform of one of the most wanted games of this year in any form before its offical release date sometime this fall. For sure there was will a playable demo disk. As with E3 till the release of MK: D there will be preview disks that video game sites will play ( update there hands on inpressions). So for us in the non gaming press we'll have to wait till the release date. I think the only way that people will be able to play MK: D before the release date is sort of like CubeClub. MKonline staff went to Cubeclub ( place were hot games are shown off for gamecube) back in 2002 a few weeks before the release of MK: DA and played it. So if PS2 and or Xbox have there "CubeClub" it might be possible to play it sometime later this year before it is released

Erm well they did it with Deadly Alliance.
Over here in the UK the OPS2 mag had a PLAYABLE demo of MKDA with Scorpion, Li Mei and Kenshi and the tomb level minus blood and special moves - that was like 4-6 months before it was released.

I wonder... will they bother with a demo disc this time?
After the tradgedy of MK4, I think they decided to
release a demo to show people what an improvement MK:DA was.
MK:DA sold loads of copies and Deception probably
will too, so will they bother to spend the time and
effort to release a demo?

I damn well hope so!

A playable disc would be nice to have. Instead of it being playable it should have some movies of it in action.

Expect one a month or two before release. A game this big with big promotional opportunities has to have a demo disc before its released, There will be one but dont ask me when.

But since Boon knows that this game will sell no matter what why should they bother with a demo disc.I would love to have one but i'm not going to get my hopes up.sad

Usually magazines like PSM and OPM put in disks with videos or demos for almost every new game to be released. Some of you said there was a MK:DA demo, then there likely will be one for MK:D. I say just wait to see what PSM and OPM decide to do.
