Playing on a Playstation 3
I keep having connection problems. I don't know why. This game was made for the Playstation 2 but, I am playing it on the Playstation 3. I was wondering how to make your connection better if you play this game on a Playstation 3? I actually have a connection and can even log in to the online rooms but i play a little bit and it just disconnects. Don't say anything about this if you have no idea about what your talking about, because I know you can play this game on a Playstation 3, because I have for a couple seconds but it always disconnects, because i can actually log and fight for a couple seconds but it logs out. I just wanted to know how to make sure you can make your connection better because i could play.

I don't think you can get online using a PS3..

You answered your question as stated, "This game was made for the Playstation 2."
But answering your question, no, PS2 will not play online on a PS3 if it was designed specifically for the PS2.
Seriously guys, if you don't know the answer then don't concoct, because you're just misleading the inquirer.
Of course you can play your PS2 games online by the use of PS3. Just make a connection save file on your virtual PS2 memory card (I'm assuming you've already created one 951009). This can be done when you try going online with your game and system message says you can't, leaving you an option of setting up the connection. Use the same information as for your PS3 connection (which I'm also assuming you've already established).

Yeah, I did that, never worked. May have for you, but not for me. So, I'm not misleading anyone.

...was clearly false, you indeed didn't mislead the topic creator, because like you can read in his edited initial post, he already knew that it's possible to play PS2 games (MKA in this case) on a PS3
