Question 1 - a ISP,a broadband connection, and a PS2 network adapter

Question2- If you have your broadband connection set up , you just put MK: Deception in your PS2.

Question 3- Nothing

edit so I can answer the question below: I think the PS2 adapter is somewhere between $30-$35

Okay so I have cable internet and a Ps2, and a TV, and a memory card. So all I need to do is buy a network adapter and a cat5 to hook up the network adapter to my umm..cable internet thingy. Then. stick the start-up disk in and install it, right? There's no per-game or monthly fee?

the ps2 network adapter at tops will be 39.99 plus tax and you don't need a router or additonal cat-5 cable if you want to spend the least amound of money all you need to do is take the internet cable (assuming its cat-5 (looks like a long phone cable's end)) and plug it into the port that it fits into on the network adapter. the router and addional cat-5 cable is only if you want to have more than one thing on the same internet connection at the same time you can easily swap cables from computer to ps2 without the purchase of a router.

The things you must have to go online are an ISP (Juno and Netzero wont work)
A PS2 Duh!!
A network adaptor Kit
An account
One more thing is you dont have to have broadband. You can have dial up

Midway games online enabled games are broadband only. That includes MK: Deception. Also online enabled PS2 games since a few months ago have been only broadband. Yes PS2 has a few dail up online games , but 56k is now rare on ps2.

If you go to playstation.com you can see an entire list of online compatible games and a lot of them including Mortal Kombat Deception dont require broadband.

If this is true.... it wil be cheaper than XBL.

What about Gamespy? Will they charge for that?
