Please include the sea dragon stage fatality this time!!!
I really wish Boon and Co. would include the Lung Hai sea beast (or sea dragon) in Deception. It was supposed to be in MKDA, but was removed!
Please include it this time! It was one of the more unique stage fatals ever thought off, and would be cool to see in action!
Thank you.

I agree 100%. I loved that concept. I tried everything in that level to get some sort of stage fatality, for nothing.

Thats one of the thigns I hated about MKDA...all htese levels that were begging to be stage fatalities...some that even blatantly stated that they WERE stage fatalities (but laziness prevailed). How can you have arenas like the Acid Bath, the Lava Shrine, and the one with the Lung Hai sea beast, and NOT have stage fatalities?

Exactly. It made me angry how they teased us with them and then let us know LATER that there won't be/isn't any.

in the trailer there looks like there is a snake stage with live giant snakes around the arena..you should definetly be eaten by these suckers.

YES!!!! I wanted that soooo bad!!!! I tried doing like 10000 things to see if I could do it... but it just wasn't there...
| queve Wrote: LOL, you love this level dont you? I actually want to see the giant SEA Dragon eat you from the water. It woudl kick ass. Hey, I've heard the Ying Yang level MIGHT have sharks that eat you when thrown into the dark water, so, who knows? |
Yes, I really loved that level! It was more than your average stage fatality! I mean, think about it - in one way or another, the stage fatalities were starting to have some sort of resemblances:
- Long drops (MK1, 2 & 3 pits, Shao Kahn's tower)
-Falling into liquid that destroys your flesh (acid bath from MK2, scorpion's lair in UMK3).
-Roof impales (MK2 roof spiked arena and MK4 Goro's lair)
I mean, they were cool and unique, but with regards to originality, the Lung Hai temple had potentially the best kind of stage fatality thought off in a while: a giant sea dragon that ate your opponent! Yeah, was obsessed with that arena, so much so I even imagined what the stage fatality would have looked like! Here's my take on how the sea beast would have finished off your opponent in MKDA:
- When the words "Finish Him/Her" appears, you go into 'fatality' stance, and tap in a code;
- The famous 'fatality music' hits. The temple gate rises (in MKDA I think it is permanently raised), the camera angle goes above the arena, over the gate (as it rises), and a large shadow can be seen moving under water, indicating that something big is entering the temple's inlet.
- The camera angle shows the large 'creature' swimming under the wooden platform. Here the camera angle switches to regular combat style, showing you and your opponent (who is dazed, waiting to be finished) standing opposite each other, but a a distance.
- Suddenly the creature comes crashing through the wooden platform from the water, and in the process grabs the 'dazed' opponent in its snout, and then goes crashing back into the water! In mid sequence we can see the opponent struggling for his life, but to no avail.
- Next scene shows your fighter giving a kick-@#$ pose, while he is standing on what remains of the arena! Fatality!
Dang! I just wish they'd include that sea dragon this time!
