OK, you know in the fatality video, it shows Li Mei pummeling Ashrah and it never shows the end? That could be a brutality teaser. Just a guess.
Thoughts?

Well if Midway manages to revamp brutalities so that each are character specific, like fatalities, they could succeed.

Like this would be a Scorpian brutality: After pulling off the combo after FINISH HIM/HER, Scorpian would put in a few more hits, grabs his opponent by the throat, tosses him/her against the wall, spears them in the chest, slams them into the walls, then reels em' in and impales them on his sword. BRUTALITY!

Li Mei's "brutality" fatality is certainly better than her MKDA fatality, that's for sure. I agree - I think it should be hers and hers alone.

nah, Mileena took back her sai from Li Mei. The Sai have been Mileena's trademark weapons since MK2.

It's not a brutality, it's Li Mei's fatality. She just does multiple jabs to the opponents mid section, but I wonder how it ends.

I don't know, to be honest I thought the same about brutalities making a comeback for Deception, that wouldn't be such a bad idea. Who's that ninja that's getting stabbed/jabbed by Li Mei?
