Possible new move for Sub Zero found in MKD

In the recent gametrailer.com MKD gameplay movie, at around 4:57, it shows Sub Zero knocking Sindel off the lower balcony and into a deathtrap on the rain stage. But what is interesting is how he does this. He uses his freeze projectile. It looks like Sub Zero will have an ice projectile that damages his opponent(like ermacs green fireball) in addition to the one that freezes his opponent as in previous MK games.

Yeah that is interesting, but maybe the ice blast he currently has pushes the person back a little and it triggers the area where the opponent is to fall.

Yea I thought of that too but in another movie(I forget which one) it shows subzero launching his regular freeze projectile at his opponent who has almost no life left. When it connects, he just freezes and the words finish him appear. He doesnt get knocked back at all. Can anyone find the movie that im talking about?

I don't think it's new. I think all projectiles will have the ability to smash opponents through walls and into death traps. In that same trailer (I think), Nightwolf uses one of his arrows to shoot Mileena into the Slaughterhouse grinders. Maybe this is just a glitch in the early version of the game, because I heard that special moves won't be able to do that.

Interesting observation. I think they are making his Freeze move a lot like that in MK1. What I mean is that in MK1, Sub-Zero's Freeze did a bit of damage to the opponent so I think they are bringing that back in this game.

anyway new or not it sounds stupid as hell, i really dont give a damn what moves subzero has that r new, u wanna know why???? because subzeros ice clone has already been confirmed at E3 cause the e3 players from MKO used the ice clone. dammit it is BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its not really interesting..b/c not to be a dickhead or anything..REGAURDLESS of what move it is if you shoot a guy near the redzone of a death trap..iceball or fireball...there gonna fly thru and hit the ground.. good try though, Im not bashing you im jus stating the facts so this is cleared up.
