Well. I live in california.. and www.ebgames.com is in nevada. so if i preorder it online will it go to my ebgames in my city?
if you preorder online, it will come to your house, not your local EB.
for the record, ebgames.com has been known to let games slip a day or two early.....i preordered my copy of MK:DA from them and it was in my grubby little hands at 10am ON the release date...same thing happened for a few other Xbox games i've ordered....i know its not much, but, its always cool when you get the convenience of ordering online:
- not calling every store, fighting the crowds, wasting gas and then having to ride all the way home with the game in your hand...this is why people put video game systems in their rides!
With the added bonus of not having to wait a day or two for it to actually ship!

I have pre ordered both MK: DA and MK6 at Eb games. I got MK: DA a day early before offical release and I hope EB does the same with MK6. Back to the thread, I agree with the other person that if you buy online it will be brought to your house, but keep in mind that MK:6 if ordered online it will have to be taken out of its box, checked for your name to ship to , then boxed then sent to your house. that alone should take a extra day. I say go it and get it someplace else that is selling it early. What I am saying that I wouldn't pre order online because that takes time to ship. To me its better to get it yourself after pre order.

so i should get my lazy ass up and walk 5 minutes to ebgames.. i take it that would be easier

Of course they'll ship it to your house, that's how mail order works. They don't just ship in their own state. Everytime I order from EBGames, I usually get my order no more than 2 days after I place the order. If you pre-order MKD from the website, you might be able to do an in-store pick up, where you pay off the order and print out your receipt, then bring the receipt to the store, show it to the clerk, and he'll process it for you. This is probably the best bet you have if you want MKD on launch day, but like someone else pointed out, if the game ships to the warehouse early, before its scehduled release date in stores, then EBGames might fill your order the moment they get the stock, which means you'll have a good chance of getting it on launch day. Otherwise, you'll probably have to wait 1 or 2 days to get it after its officially released.

I'd rather pre-order it and pick it up in the store. Sometimes EB gives extras if you pre-order it early.
