I'm seriously starting to hate the pro moves.....I swear Im doing it right, but the game refuses to register the pro move. Makes me not even want to bother trying for the trophies...

Yeah to have the combos more challenging than the Boss, well there is something wrong with that picture. lol. I think what they should have done was to show how the combo is done so you can see what frame to begin the next string of combos.

Welcome to the world of "REAL" fighting games. In Street Fighter EX+Alpha way back on the PS1, there was a combo challenge that was very similar to this game's. The combos were not eant to be damaging, nor were they meant to be used in normal vs matches. Their purpose was mearly to show you what was possible with the fighting engine. After playing the combo challenge mode, you can litterally pick the combos apart and make shorter, or more viable, easier versions of them to use in a match. It teaches you how to use the combo system in the most extreme way.

I suggest paying attention to the little flash of light that appears after you successfully pull of one segment of a combo challenge. It tells you when to input the next move in the combo sequence. Once you've nailed the timing, you will become very familiar with the game engine. With said familiararity, you will be able to create some really effective, damaging combos for use online or playing against the CPU. DOn't get frustrated, get familiar with the system.

Peace

The circle with the arrow in it means to jump towards the opponent and het them with the specified button following the circle.

I personally think the difficulty of them is great, gives you a reason to keep playing and trying, I havent completed one of them yet tho lol, ive got about 2 left on Green Lantern's and Shao Kahns.

it is kind of frustrating though.

i hate when some of the hits don't register. but i don't really try to actually accomplish the kombo challenge i just use it to see what moves link together well.

one thing i noticed about the challenge is that you have to make sure that each hit from the combo lands. if you successfully input the whole combo, it wont matter if one of the hits doesn't land. I think the kombo challenge is great. I've actually completed batman's and i've actually used most of his combos in online matches.
