Exactly. I'm pretty sure he meant is there going to be a PS2 version, and not literally play the PS3 version on the PS2.

I agree with seanay but also with fuzzdork you can't play ps3 games in a ps2 but if midway dose make a ps2 version I bet it will have not so good looks

No, sadly you need an Xbox 360 or PS3 to play it. No PS2 version available at all, though I'm sure it could have been made.
