PS2 Online Tournament Site
The first tournament for Playstation 2 Online from this site will be Thursday, October. 21, 2004. 8 PM EST.
Requirements:
A Playstation 2 with Online Adapter and Broadband
MKD For PS2
Must be a member at any of the following Mortal Kombat sites:
Mortal Kombat Online - http://mortalkombatonline.com
The Realm Mortal Kombat - http://trmk.org
Mortal Kombat Bushido - http://mkbushido.org
for tournament updates and PM Purposes and Room and Password information. If you are not a member of any of these sites please visit one of them and sign up if you would like to participate if you haven't already done so.
Match Rules:
First Round Matches will be best of 5 matches, matches will be 2 rounds, 60 seconds long, and must have death traps enabled. Arenas will be chosen in order of which they appear.(Default)
All of the characters that you have unlocked will be legal.
No Gameshark or Codebreaker or any kind of program that lets you use cheats.

Check back for more updates.
Post here with your PS2 Online name if interested.

name on ps2 is danadbab.. *note i can not access the beetle lair, it freezes my ps2, so if u r challenging me make sure u just change the stage to the next 1... just the 1 time, it doesnt have to be changed back till the stage before the beetle lair... to make it easier make it so i do the challenging..

hey my name is STRYDER online..
umm i would like to join the tourny.. but i have work untill 3pm is it possible to hold the tourny 3:30 pm EST time or 4pm EST..
i would really appreciate this. I would really like to take this game serioisly. but i cant skip work.
also i have a question.. shouldnt Dairou be banned? he has an unblockable move that can only b evaded by jumping.. The move launches towards and can lead to a combo doing over 40% damage. ofcoarse there are combo breakers but Dairou can do this move all day.. It is too fast to see on reaction so you can only guess. If not the character banned the move should be. It really is not fair in my opinion. What do you guys think?

NO! Then you'd have to same for Ermac and Bo Rai Cho and that wouldn't be fair to everyone else who like playing them. Yeah you have to jump out of the way, but that's apart of strategy. Dairou is one of my main characters and I don't abuse that technique like most people, but I do use it. Every character has moves that can be avoided and learning to do so might be a good idea before sitting down and playing people who know how to use them. wink
I myself would advocate no throwing however! Cheapest thing in the game to do without true skill.
