Once you insert a PS2 (or PS1) game for the first time in your PS3, a message will pop up, and just follow the instructions from there on. The "internal memory card" is only used for PS2 and PS1 games as far as I know,and not for PS3 games.

YES, I PLAY BOTH GAMES ON MY PS3 ONLINE ALL THE TIME. IT'S JUST THAT, I KNOW THE PERSON ON THE OTHER END GOT 2 B ON THE PS2, BCAUSE THE PLAY IS MUCH FASTER. I HARDLY EVER WIN A MATCH.

No issues for me. It worked normally. Same as PS2. I don't want to act like I know what I'm talking about but maybe try lowering the resolution for PS1 and PS2 games. Like I said, I tried MK:A on PS3 and it worked fine. Tekken 3 (which is a PS1 game) worked fine as well. Also, if you have 2 TV sets that you use your PS3 on, make sure you change the settings for the current TV set that you're playing on (if needed). Maybe that could cause some problems as well.

Amviorix, was MK:T even online for the PS1? You could play it online on the PS3 I guess if you could play it online for the PS1. Otherwise, I'd assume no.

I dont believe that PS1 could EVER go online.

The only way I could see it is with the use of a certain emulator that allows net play support.

i have MKT for ps1. Its not online.

go into options on GOW and turn widescreen and progressive on and it will fill most of the screen

Naw i tried all that none of that makes a difference. I found out the problem as to why it was letter boxing most of the games i played. It was my HDMI cable it seems that its not sony authorized so i tried the SONY Component cables and it works just fine except a lot of shit looks all green. But its the cable so im just going to buy a Sony HDMI Cable because thats what i prefer to use for that.
