Seriously. How in the hell do people find the time to play 2k, 3k, 4k, 5k+ matches? Do you play all day every day? Do you have a job? Do you buy 2 PS3's, create two accounts, and fight your standing still opponent over and over again online? WTF? The game has been out approximately 60 days. If you've played 3k matches that's 50 matches a day. If you've played 5k matches that's 83 matches a day. EVERY DAY! Do you wake up every morning and say "man, i gotta get my 83 matches in today".

well its been roughly 60 days since the games release. with 2000 games played you're looking at 33 games a day. if a game lasts 5 minutes then you're looking at 165 minutes per day which is lets say 3 hours a day for load times and time in lobby etc.. In reality its probably less than that because most players with 2k games/wins are also good players and tend to win quickly. I have a lot of matches that are over in under 3 minutes and some under 2 if I'm playing my best. So if you work 40 hours a week you've still got plenty of time to go to work spend time with family and do other things assuming you don't have massive commute. I have a short commute of about 15 minutes to work and 25 leaving work. toss in 8 hours sleep thats 17 hours of my day for work and sleep lets say an hour for the gym and an hour for commute thats 19 hours leaving me 5 hours to do whatever with. Then i have two days off a week where I can play a lot more if I want to. So looking at max 21 hours a week and you can do a good bit of that on the weekends and still have time to do something else. Generally speaking I don't sleep 8 hours I'm more a 6 hour guy so really have 7 hours a day to do whatever.

Personally I go to the movies on the regular and go out to eat on the regular hit the gym, have sex with my wife, spend time with my family and dogs and still have plenty of time to play. Thats how I got my 2k+ games.

Understandable, but three hourse EVERY day (unless you make it up on the weekends) is a chore. I have 2 kids so playing that much is improbable on top of everything else I have to do in a day. By the time they go to bed I don't have 3 hours every day to play the game. The purpose of my post was not intended to "rip" on those people with that many games. It was mainly to see how they have the time to do it.

To answer your question, I do work. A LOT of times, My PS3 is on, but I'm generally not here. My rl best friend has a spare key to my house and I let him play my ps3, I've known him since grade school and he's a good dude. He sometimes Plays MK on my accounts, but I do tell him that if he losses not to quit because it makes me look bad, he agreed he's not much for losing, but said he would never quit mid game, but would leave at yes or no screen depending on his "streak." I to feel that losing isn't always the best lesson, but notice it does make me play with more focus. I wish I could play MK all day, sadly being 24 I have more responsibility and that time just isn't there. I'm good for what I know and that's it. My friend can even beat me so know when I say I'm just ok, that's exactly what I mean.

My account does have more wins then losses, but that's ONLY because when the game first dropped not many were that good not even me, but I was a decent player who put up a good fight, most say. I.E. Joe-Von-Zombie, MKBeast, Jago, etc.

Even 3K aint bad but I dunno about the 10000 matches. I think either he has no job and obviously no sex life, or he has 2 ps3's and fights himself. Lol, or both. As far as the 2K matches? Thats logical. I mean there have been Sundays where I play for 8 hours at a time as long as I'm not drinkin! Lol. wink

This is like that Gears of War 2 thing. Get 100,000 kills to get the achievement trophy or whatever. I have a PS3 but one of my coworkers has a 360 and Gears. He said he's at like 8000 I asked him about a week ago if anyone was close and he said some people are at 50 000 kills so far. That's just ridiculous haha.

FAIL... thats not even a comparison because I already have 5000 kills in that (not like thats alot) but thats due to the fact that all I ever play is Horde. If it weren't for MK, Gears would be my game of choice. Imagine sitting there in a private room killing your way to the top. It takes anywhere from a single second to a minute to kill something in Gears, depending on how good you are. A headshot from a sniper is nothing compared to the BIGGEST ass whooping as far as time goes. On top of that, with Gears, you can play the single player and still gain towards that achievement.
