Quan Chi Theory (some spoilers)

Here is a little Quan Chi theory.
What most of the MK storyline is a Quan Chi master plan? Let me explain.
What if Quan Chi was from Outworld back in the old Dragon King days and what if Quan Chi served as the Dragon King's sorcerer. I think this could make a lot of sense of the direction the storyline went.
It is known that the Dragon King mysteriously died, Quan Chi may have killed the Dragon King so he could enact a plan to gain control of the army by siding with Shinnok and getting his amulet. We all know the story of how he gets the amulet. I think this whole thing was set up by Quan Chi. This would also explain why Quan Chi was surprised by the quote "it cant be" when the Dragon King returned.

I posted one a while back, with Shang Tsung in replacement of Quan Chi. I agree Chi would make a lot more sense in the role, Tsung is just a more popular character of mine.

Are you saying even the part where the Dragon King comes back?
Or just up to that point?
I think it's an interesting idea. But, Quan-Chi doesn't seem to be that much of a long term thinker. He's just a rat bastard who will stab anyone in the back.

Quan Chi is just an ugly fucker...his face looks like a corpse's cold, dead ass. On top of that it looks like the developers screwed things up because they forgot the NUMBER 1 RULE of Mortal Kombat characters...fashion first (as in cool costumes), fighting second. Quan Chi's outfit looks like he pulled it out of a goth's closet.
