Question about new MK:D video (please help!!)

I downloaded winrar, installed it, I downloaded the other program (vlc something) that's supposed to play the video, MKD.mpg I think it's called. It's the new video that supposedly shows Smoke and the MK Chess game etc.

Well, when I try to get the vic program (it looks like a little yellow and white wizard hat right?)to do anything, it says that there is a " a required .DLL file, WS2_32.DLL, was not found." And then it won't do anything after that. All I can do is hit okay.

I've tried downloading the program again, I've tried installing it in winrar, unzipping it, unzipping it in winzip etc etc. Nothing. Also, for some reason, my computer isn't really displaying pictures anymore...at all. In fact, I would've posted this under the new video topic, but my computer doesn't show the post reply option anymore. (WTF???)

Someone pleeeeeeze help!!

I dont know about your winrar situation, but i've been having the same problem as you with viewing buttons and such. Ever since late last night, i'm not able to see signatures, avatars, submit buttons, pics, and everything else. Very weird, i wonder what the problem is. Atleast i'm not alone though.

Sounds like you guys (TempUserName included) have some kind of computer virus...no images and shit.

Anyways, I reencoded the vid...here.

Hey guys I have the same problem on my computer. It all started when I was tring to see pics on the german site. after I tried to log in my computer started doing all this weird crap and now I have the missing pic and no submit button. What is going on if it is a virus this sucks. zeee germans maybe? who knows

Thanks for the help, and Konqrr, thank you VERY much for putting that vid in quicktime! I've gone through such a hassel with downloading programs and having them crap out on me (although most of that probably comes from the fact that my computer is older than dirt and sand put together). It's a good video, and I'm guessing it's early stuff. If that is Smoke, and it obviously looks like it is (what with white skin, a white face, and grey shin pads), I'm just assuming that they haven't put the smoke effects (or the Pigpen clouds, however you look at it) in just yet.

This sucks!

The video wont play and I waited hours to download it! I even fallowed all those steps and downloaded all those programs in order to view it.

Konqrr your video works perfectly fine, thanks, smile except for the sound. sad

Please, can someone help me with this? I would really like to view the video with sound. What can I do?
