when you choose a fighter in the arcade mode and you choose his alt costume does the picture of the fighter change into his alt or not?

yes indeed, its basically the same thing as to MKDA. but the picture change very slow though and sometimes cause a glitch (like i once choose Sub-Zero's alt costume but it shows Scorpions instead)
