ok, i just wanted to ask som questions, since i can't go to texas.

one, if some one were to try and hold a MKDA tournament, would Midway need to be asked? would it depend on where it was held? or if money made from the event? would anyone even care?

and finnaly, is there anyone in the new england area thinking about one, or do you know a place that would allow it to be held there?

i thought i had a possible location in coventry RI (not far from the spot where the Great White just burned down the Station and killed 100 of my fellow Rhode Islanders last friday night) but it fell thru, and now i don't know anything.

PS.
assuming we can do this without spending money to rent a place or somthing, im pretty willing and able to supply a new PS2 and my Shadowblade sticks (or pads if anyone would play in a tourny with one) and i'd even buy a t.v. (as good as about $500 can get me with my walmart discout card, probly 27 inch, or a low grade 30) for use at such events.

have a few people near me who would be into this as well, but we are all clueless as to how to do this.

if anyone has any ideas or leads, pm me.

i'm from new hampshire, which is in new england. i don't know that i'd be willing to drive to rhode island just for a video game tournament, but if it were somewhere a little closer like mass, maybe. i am into playing with other people, because right now i have no one to play against, i just have to practice against the computer. i can beat it on max pretty easily now, so i think i must be alright, but fighting real people who are good is probably much more difficult. please keep posting with updates regarding any new england tournaments or get-togethers.

in response to your question about how i beat it on max, i think i will answer it by starting a new thread for basic strategies for newbies, since gameplay in mkda is a bit different from past mortal kombats, and i think it would be a good place for more experienced players to post their advice for people that would like to improve. :)
