Maybe, instead of using the story to "weaken" Superman, Wonder Woman, Captain Marvel, etc., the RAGE element elevates humans to metahuman status. Wouldn't it make more sense, or at least make it easier, to bring human characters up to par with Superman instead of "dumbing" metahumans down?

So basically make everyone stronger on the MK side? Nah, I'd rather have them dumb down Superman and Wonder Woman.

Agreed.

I don't want to think about my MK characters being able to move at infinite speed light, shatter mountains by just punching them, etc.

That's just one of the biggest things I dislike about Superheroes. This huge load of "perfection" (despite their weaknesses) that they seem to have. Makes it boring.

I don't think a lot of superheros from DC can easilly shatter mountains with a single punch lol.

Is RAGE what's supposed to even out the playing field? In other words, does RAGE allow them to take a punch to the face from Captain Marvel? Has anyone seen/heard an explanation as to how the "event" weakens Supes, CM, WW, etc?

The MK characters are already Meta-Humans. Just not anywhere near some of DC's Meta-Humans.

Anyone who can leap 80 foot in the air, and tear people's spines out counts as a Meta-Human.

As for your idea to level it, I wouldn't mind it. I don't see how story can make people like Captain Marvel and Wonder Woman weaker. It works for Superman (kind of) cause of magic, but not really for others.

I can agree with that except I am very curious to see how the story weakens Wonder Woman and Captain Marvel. You would think Boone would know that those two have similar power levels to Supes.
