im not sure, about it yet,ill judge whn ive played it, or at least seen some more. I know the mk story is a bit of a mess, but it still is a mythology, and i cant see how dc is going to tie in with it.
Sure, this game will get most people excited, but im skeptical.
will this game be for kids too, i hope not, mortal kombat is about blood gore, fatalities.
when boon said it was going back to its dark roots, i thought they would re-invent it, but around the guidelines of the first 2.
this could be a mistake, this could kill MK completely, or it could be the begining of a great era for midway.
Either way Mk as we know will be gone, and this could open the door for movie epics, more games, and no blood.
I hope this is a one off
coz if its not...............the demise has begun...........

To tell you the truth the video made me laugh. I found it funny but I didn't like it at all. Every time I look this Subzero vs Batman poster I feel very disappointed.

I'm on the fence with this game. I loved the trailer, everybit of it except batman LOL. But i've put some thought into it and i'm gonna buy it. I know i am. Just like i bought Armegeddon, not because it was great but because i'm a true mk fan. I think alot of the hardcore fans will be lost. I consider myself one of them. I feel very let down by this. I have purchased every mortal kombat game to date, On multiple platforms as well. Shit i have purchased MK2 at least 10 times. He knew what the fans thought and didn't listen. Everyone says we shouldn't be upset, i don't see how you don't expect us to be upset or let down. He ignored us the fans! I hope he hears our pleas and pushes this game for a mature rating instead of the teen rating. Maybe they can do a workaround wear only certain characters can preform fatalities or something.... I don't know. I'm very impressed with what i have seen so far and i also agree this is by FAR the BEST looking MK yet. I will hold my judgement and just pray he listens to us the fans, the people who put MK on the map, the ones that spent days and soooooo many quarters in the arcades.

i'm so affraid this game is going to get good sales and we will never see an M rated mk again. This saddens me deeply

1)bad use of Unreal enigine 3(the light didn't seems dinamic)
2)the look wasn't gears of war style
3)sub zero's moves where recycled from kreate a fatality of armageddon(look at the trailer...when he first kick batman from ground,it's the same animation of transition from a enemy on the groun to his knees(i'm reffering to KAF in Armageddon) and also the spinning kick is the same as b,b, square)
4)No realistical fihghting styles...do you watch how Batman managed to throw Sub Zero fro several metres/feet?
5)the graveyard seems identical to MK deception'sone
6)sub zero's look is too similar to his appereance in MK Shaolin Monks
