Regarding Kitana. . .

Well, it looks like Kitana won't be in Deception. In the new trailer, Sindel is using Kitana's Eagle Claw fighting style. . . I highly doubt that they would have 2 people with the same fighting style. . . unless Kitana is in the game and has whole new fighting styles. . . . . . . .

Well we all know that fighting games (esp. MK and SF) are always up for duplicating things in the game like characters and moves. She'll prob. be a hidden fighter with the demand so high!

Or she could be one of those characters that acts as an alternate outfit for another character with the name changed completely, just like Namco's been doing with the Tekken series since Tekken 2. In fact, she may very well be Li Mei's alternate "character AND costume", since the blue female ninja in MKD thing is starting to spark quite a debate over who it is.
