the whole reiko/kahn thing was just randomness, reiko won't be back, his ending was one of those "what if" endings that never happen.

First off, I don't remember MK: DA saying anything about Shao Kahn besides him dying. Secondly, In MK4 it said Kahn was defeated so I guess it could be him, but the possibility is very low and either way he is DEAD. Finally, even if he did return, I hope rain doesn't. He was a foolish character who was only around in what was more or less a remake and he wore purple. On top of that, Nightwolf has stolen his moves.

Good for the story, would fit the whole deception theme perfectly, gaining the trust of his younger brother, and with the whole Deception technology Classic Sub can have a makeover like Kabal, nightwolf etc. so much better than all this mysteriousness surrounding a below average character.

Actually the comic was just supposed to be a joke, seriously, although the games have stated Reiko was Kahn; in a way, it doesn't matter if he is or he isn't anymore.

But Vogel (who has taken over Tobias's role for doing the story) has said that Reiko and Kahn aren't the same anymore; although I'm sure they'll try to avoid that issue entirely when it comes to writing the storyline.

First off, Ed Boon stated that Reiko and Shao Kahn aren't the same person. Yes, I know...Ed Boon ISN'T in charge of the storyline. Whoopdeedoo! What's your point? When Shang Tsung and Quan Chi attacked Shao Kahn, even though he was weak already, Shao Kahn was merely weakened, NOT killed and people like Reptile believed him to be dead. But anyway, you'll probably understand what I mean when the time comes...

You know what, I think reiko is shang tsung. look, shang tsung can morph into anyone he wants. in reiko's bio for playstation, it says that reiko died during the elder god attack. also, look at reiko's and MK3 shang tsung's eye paint. it is the same. shang tsung always wanted to kill shao khan, so maybe that endind is a what if where reiko kills shao kahn. and how could kahn have time to fight in the fourth tournament if he was fighting the edenians and the shotokan. that is why kano was not in MK4 as well.

due to all the rumors or Kahn "returning" to deception i like to believe that reiko was infact posing as kahn during the attack in deadly alliance intro meaning kahn is still alive..... think about it how long has kahn been the main villan and a good one at that.

If you see the booklet of Mortal Kombat Gold, at the character bio of Kitana you can read something about shao Khan and his son !!

Reiko isn't Shang Tsung and as far as I know, Reiko is NOT Shao Kahn's son.

In Reiko's bio, it states that he was thought to have been killed but he resurfaced years later.

Kitana's bio NEVER mentioned anything about Shao Kahn having a son.
