Reiko is Khan debate finally put to rest!!! *Spoilers*

Finally they decided to put this rumor to rest once and for all in MKD... for those who dont know what im talking about...


In MKD if u go in outworld when ur younger Shujinko and talk to Khan he sends u out to find Reptile, once u find him return to Khan when ur older Shujinko and talk to him and he says Reptile never showed up and that u can do one more task for him, he says that Reiko has been sneaking into his chamber and wearing his mask, u must go find Reiko and tell him to never do it again... once u find Reiko in the prison village he will admit to have wearing Khans helmet and says that one day it will be his and return to Khan for 500 Ruby koins...

Kahn is amongst in that area with all the other kahn looking people... with the buildings on the left and right. Kahn is somewhere in the middle.

This is the 1st time that they tell us that Kahn isn't Reiko in a game, but for the Fight Night for MKDA 2 years ago (I think it was from that fight night, maybe earlier), Boon simply told us that Reiko isn't Kahn... which killed all those rumors. So it's been "put to rest" for some time now... I haven't seen a thread about it for a long, long time, aside from this one.

true, bro, Boon did say that at the FN before last... but there was a few more threads after that about the rumor on here and a few other sites... i just now found it on Konquest and thought id post it for those who still do believe (theres is a few that still believe it that ive talked to)...

Don't forget what one of the people in Chaosrealm says if you decode their language (you can find it at konqrr's site if you don't feel like decoding)

Because in Reiko's ending in MK4, Reiko was in Kahn's chamber wearing his helmet.

I thought it was something like in MK4 he just walks through a portal but in the GameBoy version (which was NOT1!! written by Boon and Co.) the helmet is show being magically/telekinetically lowered onto Reiko's cranium. The GameBoy version is complete hooey because it was NOT written by the MK team.

Ohh, okay. I kinda missed out on the story in MK4 because I played it for a few days before succumbing to the utter crappiness.

Yeah.,.. but that doesn't prove anything... Reptile from MK2 and MK4 are in different cells... and they are the same person

So? cyrax fighting in the desert in UMK3 also has Cyrax in the background.

The point? It has been officially confirmed in Konquest mode that Reiko is not Shao Kahn...he's someone scheming to take the throne from Shao Kahn.

in some versions of MK4, Reiko's ending has him walk thru a portal. In other ones (Dreamcast version and either N64 or PSX), he walks thru a portal and then puts on the helmet.

here's an idea

maybe now that kahn is suppossed to be dead, Reiko will take over his place and become a Shao Kahn impostor.
Reiko does say in Konquest that the throne will be his one day
Maybe his day is now, especially since Kahn is assumed to be dead

definition of impostor
one that assumes false identity or title for the purpose of deception
