Does anyone who still visits this forum remember how hyped this game was before it came out? I do.

Those were the days...2006. I remember this site would have over 60 users online at once, this forum had so much activity, everyone was insanely excited.

But then...I remember.

We got leaked the endings.

Yes, we saw a few of those horrible endings, and all of us realized...this game wasn't what it claimed to be...this game wasn't tying up all the loose ends and finishing this generation of Mortal Kombat with a bang. No, this was just another MK game, except with every character.

But that last fact was still enough to keep the excitement going, and even after this game came out (I remember that EVERYONE was disappointed) things kept going for a while.


But sadly, with the gap between MKA and MK vs DC, this site died. Not even the news of MK vs DC brought much life back into it.

Farewell Mortal Kombat Online, I will remember fondly the days of insane activity. But perhaps...just perhaps...one day, another game like Armageddon can come along, and the hype will breathe life back into the Mortal Kombat community.
