Reptile/Dragon King.

With all the stuff I heard on this and other boards that Reptile was the Dragon King, I went back and lookd at his ending. And you know, I think Reptile is not the Dragon King. I think Reptile is dead.
When the egg hatch its energy speared through Reptile, and it said the prophecy had been fulfilled, the Dragon King had returned, but it doesnt say into reptiles body. The embryo or whatever it is is still there, and its killed reptile. What do u all think?

Hmmmm I thought they'd never confirmed it. Anyway, I definitelt think Reptile is dead.

It said Reptile's body was "twisted and transformed." I think that just means he changed; not necessarily into the Dragon King, but less likely into a corpse.

Boon said Reptile will be more dragon-like in mk6, but not the Dragon King specifically... though he might be, but I doubt it... I think he might be a sub-boss in my opinion.... later

MajinTsung has a point. Reptile may in fact end up being a sub-boss. His ending said something about being twisted and transformed, and Boon, in an interview shortly after MKDA's release, confirmed that Reptile would return and look 'more dragon-like than ever'. So if he isn't the Dragon King, then i'm sure he'll be one of his minions, if not the sub-boss.

Reptile has been screwed or killed in every ending he's had, but he's always back because they wern't necessarily real.
I think his time has finally come to shine.

The perfect host for the power of the egg came, and I'm thinking Reptile in some form is the dragon kind, but probably more absolved as a character.

i believe at fight night someone said that in reptile's ending he became the DK

that doesn't mean he'll be the DK is MKD, but it did happen in his ending

it sounds like a nice part of an ending to be carried over, adds a lot to his storyline.


weird how it goes against the original prophecy....i mean shouldn't the DK be drinking that dragon's blood instead of being the dragon's energy light stuff and possessing reptile?
