I agree that in MKDA the majority of the Fatalities were Decapitations. I hope that isn't the case with MKD. I also agree that some classic Fatalities should come back. Scorpions Toasty is a must!

No one knows if the Dragon King IS Reptile, now. Or shares a body with Reptile. Or if Reptile even exists after Deadly Alliance. That is left open.

I think it would be better to see Reptile return even differently, trying to revive the true power of the Dragon King, who is deceiving Reptile by feeding him false visions of the Dragon King, and Reptile's race.

ok.. it maybe so but im stickin to what i concluded because thats whats obvious reptile went threw more changes when the beam hit him in his ending in MK:DA right? it said so then it said that the dragon king had returned?so if u put 2 and 2 together what u get is reptile is the dragon king

what is the whole story behind the dragon king anyway?

The Dragon King was an ancient ruler of Outworld before Shao Kahn's rise to power. He had formed the greatest army that realm had ever known. An army so powerful that it had never lost a battle. In an attempt to gain immortality and rule Outworld forever, The Dragon King commanded his holy men to hatch the last known Great Dragon egg. Legends told that drinking the blood of a newborn dragon would bring eternal life only if the dragon was slain moments after hatching. Unfortunately, the Dragon King died prematurely. His holy men loyally continued to incubate the egg with the intent of eventually reviving the dead king with the dragon blood. His army allowed themselves to be ritualistically slain and were buried in the pyramid along with their sovereign to be resurrected as well some time in the future. Generations of the Dragon King's holy men had been incubating the egg in secret ever since. As the prophecy had been told through the ages ... "Upon the birth of the last Great Dragon will the Dragon King return."

But in the end I think it will come down to what the holy men meant by the Dragon King returning. A King that would be as great as the Dragon King? The Dragon King physically returning (as Reptile's ending implied)? The Dragon King mentally returning. The Dragon King returning in full in place of someone else?

I think MD:D will have many answers for us, but will leave us with even more questions.

Nice triple post... Anyways, it is not defenite that the Reptile is the Dragon King, and I sure as hell hope he isn't. If Reptile's the Dragon King, that means he's the boss, which means you won't be able to play as him. And how does the guy in red look anything like a robot? He looks more like a ninja.

IVE SEEN NINJA FORM OF SUBZERO IN THE TRAILER AND I SEEN A NINJA FORM LOOKING SAMERUI BUT HE WAS GREEN, I THINK ITS HUMAN REPTILE!!!!!!, FIRST OF ALL THEY EVOLED HIM ALL THE WAY IN MKDA HE COULDNT EVOLVE INTO ANYTHING ELSE SO NOW THAT HE IS WITH HIS PPL HE TURNS MORE AWAY FROM THEM SOMEONE SAID LAST POST?
