One thing i don't get is in MK4/Gold reptile was asking Quan Chi to grant him the wish that his planet was saved before shao kahn destroyed it, so why in MK:DA was reptile protecting him??

reptile was'nt protecting quan chi.he was shoa kahn's protector,reptile was in limbo after kahn's death.

but why was he protecting shao khan coz it was him that destroyed is home world in mk 4 he asked quan chi to take him bak 2 his world b4 it was conqured by shao khan but if he knew shao khan killed all his ppl why protect him???

Because he is loyal genuis he will not betray his master as long as he has a master but now with him posed as the new dragon king i think we shall see some new form of reptile in the next kombat.
