Return of Shinnok?? *possible spoilers*

now i may be am just wrong but i think, in my opinion that Shinnok may be playable, if you look at his character model, hes fairly detailed enough to possibly be a real character. now im starting to doubt that Quan Chi will be playable because of his character model that is in Konquest, he looks like a little boy with red marks on the face. back to Shinnok though, hes just chillin in the town in the Netherealm, he doesnt look like his MK4 model, reiko and kai do.... i for one would like to see him return, i think he didnt get enough "time" so to say to do something, if not he was just a former elder god who was thrown into MK4 because they needed a boss, anyone else think this could be about Shinnok?

Oh God, I hope not. I hated him. I hated a lot of things about MK4, but that's beside the point. Anyways, I think if he was going to be playable you would have at least faced him in Kombat of some sorts. I think if anyone is going to be unlockable it'll be the characters from DA that you run across and kombat. Like Johnny C., Sonya B., people of that nature.

I fully agree. There are slight, Yet drastic changes to him. His colors are different, Black and Maroon instead of Teal and Red. And he's bare chested now with his collar open really wide (making a "U" shape), His collar in MK4 used to be more closed-in (making a "V" shape) with a black turtleneck underneath.
For those reasons alone i believe that he is a super-unlockable. The changes to him seem about as signifigant as Kabal's changes from MK3 to MK6, Similar yet unique.
Which i'd be very happy about, Shinnok is one of my favorites.

I only played MK4 *ONCE* and that was the arcade version but I never did like the game.....
Shinnok is the epitome of everything MK4 stood for.
Waste of rushed time/Bland/Sluggish
My opinion, no flaming necessary smile
I believe Shinnok to be one of MK's greatest mistakes, never 2 return, and 2 only be mentioned every so often in bios and krypt's etc...
Some people in the MK universe [us fans] cant grasp the terms "letting go" and believe that every MK kombatant will return at some point. I strongly beg to differ.
Shinnok will never return, the same goes for Kai and Stryker I think.
Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
With Noob-Smoke's storyline movin the way it is, thus erasing any link to Shinnok and the Brotherhood of the shadow, I DEFINITELY see no future for Shinnok. And if he is to return I arent about to eat my game cos thats just stupid. I will however, eat my own arm wink
