Running return?

I didnt watch the vid but if it's like Soul Calibre's runs then great. There'd be a wider variety of attacks, and some characters'll run faster than others, giving them a more unique feel.

Yeah, I 'd agree with this. I hated the old running system on the 2D games but liked it on MK4. If it were to be done something like Soul Calibur's then I'd be all for it being back. If the game could be anywhere near as ffast and fluid as SC it'd be awesome. A forwad dash would be nice to see too.

I never had a problem with the classic Mk3-Mk4 running.
But yeah, hopefully running is back and looks cool, and I agree that it should be improved to feel more effective and unique if possible.

Agreed, people don't realize that the running in MK3/UMK3/MKT and MK4 worked GREAT, its shouldn't be like Tekken, SC....each game has it's own dash, run system.
We'll have to wait and see if there is a confirmed run, running=back to the UMK3 aggressive days.
No running=turtle fest defensive game MK2 3D more or less lol

I hope so. It would be good if characters had more flexabliity. I'm quite tired of slowly walking towards your opponent all the time. And jumping does not replace it. I for one would be more than glad to see this feature back.

Agreed ^, I can't see why some people "didn't like that" that's easily one of the most newest, badass features in this game that no other fighting game offers, that dramatic sequence is freaking insane.
