wound up getting this

and was like " damn that took a while to get, i wonder what else he has?"

then tried his alternate costume, and voila, found that nasty ass 83%. i tried for hours to get it off his spear, everytime i do i miss the last hit in 221 in sword, for 83% also. i will get it.. im sure...

anyway man, thanks for the unlimited amount of respect you have for me, it is well noted, and will not be forgotten, most likely, this was the last combo. so savor it. however, you can look forward to a bunch of random stuff i am doing in a offline video called "MK Destiny" ill show you one combo now, im sure you will like it, i showed karate it a while ago, i started on this actually right before i made that thread about wanting to quit and leave the game, hence the name for the video "Destiny" it seems as though i was destined for this, regardless of who watchesit, respects it, or purposely ignores it.

btw i was wondering how you do A/C with characters such as ashrah and noob saibot. i was in practice mode and i tryed it and i got it to work a number of times but after like a day of not testing it i never could do it again

it just does man, the way the hits connect, the delays are different, just everything is man. i cant explain it, i just know its the truth.

mainly the part after the ac is different, the way the hits connect, cant explain it much more then that. scorpion is "bigger" in his alternate costume and possibly a little bit taller, its stuff like that man. sorry i cant explain it better

everything up to after the ac is the same, but after that, if you do 23, b1, the 221 will miss

but in his alternate, it doesnt, and im sure theres other differences, like the ac is easier to get in his alternate costume

this also only works for player 2 and on jax.

So if this is true (using alternate costumes/ using Player 2); is it something worth implementing to your online games? I mean, could some characters be more effective or easier to connect combos with depending on their costumes during normal online play? This is the first I've read of this so I'm wondering if this is really only effective for doing Check's big combos, or something that can help you out online.

im not entirely sure how it reflects to online play. this is mainly a offline thing. however i do think offline shares some properties with online but to that extent, im not 100% sure

the only thing i know is on page 2 of the manual it says

"please be sure the controller is plugged into port 1 for online play "

dont know what that means, but ive been playing on port 2 ever since mkd and i found that serious glitch. like i said i cant say for sure, but i always use player 2 for everything now, in fact, i cant even host or else its too laggy since everyones connection for me is utter shit.
