I played online for an hour today and all but 2 or 3 matches ended in a connection inadaquete. This has been happening for days now. And I made sure to play 3 and 4 star connections, too. Why the fuck did Midway choose Gamespy to host their games knowing what kind of terrible track record Gamespy has. Is Midway just too cheap, stupid, and lazy to put up a decent server of their own. I mean, MKD is one of the fastest selling games they have, they have $50 of our money, the least they could do is make a good server on their own. But then again, Midway is an American company. I guess I should have expected this kind of half ass effort.

I think it's because they have personal ties to Gamespy.

lol This is sure to calm down once the game is out for awhile. And also try not playing at peak hours. I find that 11pm-10am est is good for gamespy's network.

Gamespy overall sucks. How pathetic is it when you have to reset the server and ranks less than 2 weeks after the release.

Anyone know when, IF EVER, they are gonna get the severs working right? Since its a free service I doubt they care or are even working on it...

I've played a fair amount of games online of it and have had only about 3 "connection inadequate" results and a few people disconnect on me. (mostly the disconnects were from sore losers though)
You paid $50 for a great game that you can play fine offline....the online element is FREE and to use it is FREE.
Sure, it may have it's hitches, but as you aren't paying to play it online.....I just don't see where it's so horrible as you claim it to be IMO.
It's quite enjoyable, for me at least. smile
