Whats up with Sektor, is he dead? I know he survived MK Gold cuz it says Sub Zero fought him in the Lin Kuei Grandmaster Tournament, but does it say anywhere if Sub Zero killed him???
Considering the current nature of Sub0, I'd say Sub0 offered Sektor mercy, and Sektor escaped, in order to return later, with his vengeance. It's unlikely that he died, since he had little participation on the whole thing, and he is the only Evil Cyborg out there.
And in the End sputnik7 will rise.
