Okay, this has been bugging me for a little while now. I honestly cannot wait to see how this will be implemented, but I have my fears. It was OK during MK3, but in MKGold, you could launch an inifinite supply of them, and they seemed to move too fast.
Now with MKD being a fully 3D game and the gameplay being faster than DA, I wonder just how this will work. Most of the projectiles are useless, but if this is done incorrectly, (i.e; too fast) it could very well make Sektor a seriously overpowered character. Thoughts?

Yeah, I'm gonna have to agree with you on that one, I was just thinking about this. Hopefully they'll implement a good way of dodging or blocking this while still making it a good/useful attack...Other than that, I'm really perplexed on how they'll be, or if they'll be putting this move into the game...
I hope it will home in on a target, but it can't make very sharp turns, so if someone manages to jump over or sidestep it at the last minute, will fly past and end up blowing itself up against a terrain element while trying to get back on target.

Well they need to make it where if you hit Sektor one or two times it will dissarm the missile. Like if Scorpion does his teleport punch and hits Sektor to dissarm it.

There is potential to make Sektor too good but lets hope that he is balanced (however if there are tiers I am hoping he is near the top).
The heat seeker should be dodgeable for those quick enough to move in time.

Im thinking that they can be fast, but you can only have a limited supply like about 6 for the 2 whole rounds so you would have to use them wisely. And Like that other dude said, If you punch Sektor where His Heat Seekers are like about 5 times, That can dissable the Missles!

I love this special move so much!!! I cant wait to see if they made this power return.
I hope its balanced, but still powerful.

Lol, that's a great idea, if Sektor shoots a missile in the wrong direction (eg. the enemy jumps over his head ) it should seek back to Sektor. That'd be classic.
About Me
Mortal Kombat is rated E for Everyone.

I'm not terribly sure if he will have it in MKD myself, but then again they are trying to make all of the character's most famous moves make a return.

Ed Boon isn't following that mistake which was MK:DA. Boon said all the classic characters will have their classic moves and then some, about 6 or so moves for everyone he said. So expect Sektor to have it if it can be implented into the game without making his the best.
That was one of the main things that held back MK:DA. Scorpion with no Teleport Punch? Just wrong. Cyrax with no Green Net.....again, just wrong.

Hopefully it'll be real slow. As to give us a chance of getting away from it. We should be able to destroy it with weapons and projectile attacks.
I wonder if it will follow us if we side step.
