anyway quan chi and shang are in the intro, they were supposed to kill raiden but i think that changed.

yes baraka is quan chis body guard against scorpion.

and the oni are after scorpion and thats it. they still get along with the DA except i think they are mad at quan for leaving them stranded in netherrealm.

they will be in cutscenes and talked about but i dont think they are in this game.

quan chi is a total badass, from punching people to death in there face using his broadswords and doing all this crazy crap. the only porbel was his fatality, but now they have 2 and they will changed the crappy one. cant wait for mk7 when they combine these people from MK:D and the earthrealm and DA from MKDA.

Quan Chi, Shang Tsung, Kitana, Raiden, Jax and the rest of the DA cast are all in Deception but in a different way. Several different sources like gamespot have said that all of the DA characters are unlockable in Konquest Mode for Deception but they are pretty much the same as they were in DA with new fatalities and a few new special moves/combos. So, I think there is a misconception that Raiden is in Deception. He is, but it sounds like he will be the DA version. Same thing with Shang, Quan Chi, Jax, etc.

I'm not guaranteeing this about Shang and Quan Chi, but all of a sudden Raiden and Jax are back and this is the only thing ive heard of it. I wouldn't expect any of them to be main characters in Deception, just extra hidden unlockables in Konquest like some places like Gamespot have said.

well it would be easy.. just take their old models.. touch up a bit and voila.. 2 new roster-members.. (they can do this to every char in DA (besides the realy crappy ones) but then you have to say "bye bye" to the story..

Hey that's fine by me, I don't care if they are just unlockable secrets and won't really have much to do with the Deception storyline, So long as I get Sonya back in a playable version with her old moves back (or if not all of them at least just the Leg Grab!)....I will be VERY happy.
