Shao Kahn and Darkseid online

I played against a guy last night who was Shao Kahn. Has anyone else run into this? I didn't think you could play as them online, but evidently you can.

Yea they are both playable online, I use Shao Kahn when I need to switch it up. You don't need any special code, just unlock them by completing the two story modes.

No offense to you specifically, but isn't that cheap? Using a sub boss to beat up on regular characters? I know they can be beaten, but as a whole they have to be much harder than the regular character. Your odds of beating them have to be way less. If you haven't unlocked Shao Kahn or Darkseid yet, you have to use a regular character.

Kahn is good, but can be bested by Flash. Darkseid can be bested by Flash & Captain Marvel.

I actually think Kahn and Darkseid and 2 of the easiest characters to defeat. Sure, they're big, but, the way they are being used online doesn't make harder.

True, But Darkseid is hard mainly because he's a keep away character. Ground Smash + Omega Beam = Spam. Flash is the cure for his cheese.
