It would be sweet if he did return with cooler moves. Boon knows that the fans want him to return so I would'nt doubt it if he made a suprise return.

if you remember Shao Kahn took over edenia so whats wrong with finding out where he is really from and maybe what kind of ties he has with the dragon king.

I personally liked Kahn and his look. If he returns I do think he should be more of a threat from the sidelines than a major boss though. He should at least have to earn that right back.

I think the tornament days of MK's plotline are over. I'm guessing MKD is going to be a struggle of wannabe rulers fighting over control of the realms and those trying to prevent any of them from succeeding.

I think Kahn is the best boss MK ever had. His look is awesome. I don't think they would make it a tournament just cause he is in it. He could go after Quan Chi and Shang Tsung now.

Kahn was the best fighting game boss ever. I would like to see him as a hidden boss, ala Akuma.

My thinking exactly. I think of Shao Kahn and I think of - cue wavy flashback effects! - Gaia from the Battle Arena Toshinden series. He was the boss in the first game, then he was "cast down" and was part of the regular lineup in BAT2.

I'm thinking the same thing could happen with Kahn. He could be "toned down" slightly to balance out more evenly with the rest of the characters. But I still think he should have his sledgehammer as a weapon!

Since so many people are whining about the fact that there are many of us who like Shao Kahn, then i'm gonna take some time to complain about the people who bitch about Shao Kahn.

I can sum it up basically as 'shut the f*ck up'. We all have characters we like. Shao Kahn was only in two friggin' games. What, because alot of us like Shao Kahn, that means we don't want the story to progress and we just want old characters back? Right....ok. And Sonya coming back with the same lame story every game isn't becoming repetetive? Or Liu Kang? Thank God they finally killed him. And hell, he's one of my all time favorites, but what about Scorpion coming back witht he same story over and over?

I swear, this forum has degenerated into nothing but a daycare center full of whining little babies. This has got to be the 30th thread bitching about Kahn in the last 2 weeks. I find it hysterical that so many people still want characters who have completely lame stories like Sonya to keep coming back, yet characters who have alot of potential for story, ESPECIALLY character we could never play as before, such as Shao Kahn, everyone just whines and complains about. Now I think I remember why I thought the MK community was such a joke when I lost interest in it a few years ago.

I like Kahn and all, but can someone tell me why he was in like 2 consecutive classic MKs?

ive been saying it about scorpian for a long time now, scorpian is a ninja specter from hell, he needs to come back as a pissed of som bitch out to stomp a mudhole in every one's ass, no real reason for why he is pissed off, just pissed of out to get everyone.

then have is anger being hinted at threw his various stories, like he went after quan chi again, but kung loa prevented him from getting to him so quan chi escaped, so he is pissed off at kung loa, and so forth, have every fighter do something to piss him off.

Brutal Shang! Anyways, I like the Shao Kahn character and he does have a lot of potential, as a playable character or as a boss type character. I think what I liked about Kahn is his look, his size(gotta be like 7 feet tall, lol) and his taunts. Now that I think about it, the taunts of Shao Kahn definitely need to return to tell gamers how they really are lol

Im not saying that no one can have an opinion...I'm saying that people who bash other because of their ideas are assholes, and you are certainly one of the biggest assholes in the MK Community, MrSatan. You "don't see how that's nicely said" because you hate the character of Shao Kahn, and proceed to bash anyone who likes him.
