Captain Marvel, is always going to be remembered in the red costume. Although his white costume is kinda cool, he is recognized for his red one.

Hey! Awesome! Take one of the greatest Golden Age designs; strip it of it's gorgeous soul; and make it look as generic as possible! Brilliant!

The white suit (and lightning streak) might be fun, but it's got to be the classic red. Keep the buttons, keeps the shoulder slung mini-cape, and all of those little detials. You just cannot go wrong with that. It's definitive!

That is how he will look. In the interview with Ed Boon where they talked about Captain Marvel, he said their design was very much like Alex Ross' art.

For some reason, the one in the fan art is much better, even though it feels the same. Doesnt he have any other well known outfits? He reminds me of Flash...its just very boring. I prefer the first one with the white/gold colors.

Hey Queve. Well bro, since you're being honest about opinions. Which I'm glad you are. Let me touch base about mine. I think Sonya's new costume is very dull and recycled tbh. What do you find so AMAZING about it, Idk lol. A white shirt and some pants? Now if she would of kept her retro look. I'd of been all over her. Figuratively Speaking.

If anything, at least CM is sticking to his roots, if he gets this, unlike Sonya who suffered most from the MK side look wise.

I'm not pointing this out as an attack on Sonya. I just keep seeing you talk about her AWESOME look, and nothing really stands out from her, for me, except her gameplay and her boots. Rest is History.

His alternate isn't that bad looking, kind of cool. Not as good as his standard but cool.

Well yeah from what some of you guys have said it
probably would be better that he had his original costume to keep things

How in the name of god could you call that costume plain, and then turn around and say that that generic P.O.S. fan art is better? His classic costume is entirely different from what anyone else in this game has, and you want to put him in the skin-tight suit that everyone else has got?!

I've got to admit, with no movie in sight, I'm surprised this hasn't been the opinion of more MK fans. They aren't exactly conditioned to be discerning doyens of the character design world.


Still, I can't help but feel we need some sort of karma/rep points system so I can smash it bitterly.

To have issue with the Captain Marvel suit - which defines and transcends an era when he was a bigger seller than Superman - is one thing -- but to suggest the disgracefully generic DeviantART guy's is better. This is what happened to the world's greatest characters in the nineties!

Of course, to the best of my recollection, Captain Marvel was fortunate enough to avoid shoulder pads, bulky jackets, chains, cybernetics, pockets, and oversized guns. Respect!
