I think that Shinnok could have been a bad ass, if given the chance. He could have been worse than Kahn, but they made him just a normal, playable character, and a boss at the same time. You cannot mix those. He is obviously just as evil and sinister as Kahn and as big a threat, too. I also don't understand that if in different endings, (I know, ending are what if scenarious, blah blah blah) he was able to kill people with his eyes, how come he was such a wuss in the game? He deserves a second chance.

You could be on to something. Plus, Shinnok was supposedly a god. How can a mortal kill a god? My theory is...he's probably just hiding.

Shinnok was no longer an Elder God ever since he was banished to the Netherealm. The Elder Gods Stripped him of his God abilities and his amulet. So even if he returns with his amulet he won't be as powerful as he used to be when he was an Elder. Mortals can't kill gods but Gods can kill gods.

As for comparing him to Kahn, he is an inferior to the Outworld ruler

I really wouldn't want Shinnok to come back. They should just leave him dead and move on with the MK storyline.

shinokk was alot like shang tsung with taking other people's moves the only thing shinokk couldnt morph.and his story could have been better.too bad the MK development team didnt give him the weapon shown here:

just take out the amulet and you have a brutal weapon.

I want Shinnok back !!! I want a character with morphs, but since Shan Tsung does not morph anymore, Shinnok would replace this 'morphing character' place ... Or they can just give morphs back to ShangTsung (not morphas, but impersonations. Shinnok had impersonations in PSX and it did need load, so I think ShangTsung acn had it also). I think if they recreated Shang Tsung taking out his morphs, he isn't Shang Tsung anymore...

They should leave Shinnok dead, but make more mention of him. His looks were some of the worst on any MK character ever, and his moves were a rip off of Shang's, but that doesn't mean they should act like he never existed. Same with Fujin; stupid character, but he had a major role in MK4's story, yet no mention whatsoever in MKDA.

Also, if Shinnok doesn't have the Amulet as a shield he can be killed by a mortal.

I think some people didn't like Shinnok because MK4 in general was a game they hated. I personally think that MK4 was really good, all MK games are good! But I admit that Shinnok was kind of a wuss...they could bring him back though, make him better, I wouldn't mind.

the possiblilies r endless for any character, they could bring anyone back and make them cool as long as they developed there story, looks, and moves, if they made older characters more original and brought them back thed be great

Shinnok is powerfull in MK Mythologies. But in MK4 he is weak. I don't know if was fault of the lazy programmers or the change of amulet that Quan Chi did.

Well, hope that he returns in MK6, powerfull than ever, with shields, fireball and the monster. Also his fatalities are good.
